Tanzania Tanzania’s Great Migration occurs year-round across the Serengeti, but most people visit between July and September; with less vegetation during the dry season the wildlife is much easier to spot. Tanzania is a land of great lakes and grassy plains, of lush rainforest and snow-capped peaks. There are soft sandy beaches, huge rocky gorges, ancient fossils and ancient trees. After touring on safari, head to the Indian Ocean and the magical beaches of the island archipelago of Zanzibar.
