Luxury Hotels with Blue Flag Beaches
Blue flags are awarded to those pristine, beautiful beaches with clean waters which offer easy access to all the amenities and facilities that make your time on the beach as relaxing and carefree as possible. Classic Collection Holidays offer a selection of luxury hotels with Blue Flag beaches on their doorsteps. We’ve compiled this collection of our favourite hotels with Blue Flag beaches to suit all tastes: from tiny hidden coves to wide expanses of the finest sand, and everything – pebbles, dunes, pine forests and rocky cliffs – in between. We’ll leave the choice of hotel and type of beach entirely up to you.
Greece
515 of the Blue Flags awarded in 2019 went to Greek beaches, making Greece the nation with the second highest number of Blue Flag-awarded beaches in the world, second only to Spain. While the new flags will be raised all around the country Crete holds the most flags, with 115 beaches. The Halkidiki peninsula in northern Greece is the single regional unit with the most flags. You’ll see more than 80 Blue Flags floating in the wind at beaches here.
