Oistins Holidays

Oistins is predominantly about fish. The modern fish market is at the heart of this fishing community. Down in the south, in Christ Church parish, the fishing boats populated with fishermen and their nets head out most days, and each year there's the annual Fish Festival. And every Friday and Saturday evening is Fish Fry night at Oistins, one of the most popular attractions on the whole of Barbados. There's live music, old-time dancing and some of very best local food. Look beyond the fish and you'll find bars and shops, and some very fine beaches, including Miami Beach. Its close proximity to the airport means that sunbathing and plane spotting are pastimes that easily can be combined.
