Luxury Dubai Holidays
Explore Dubai
Think of white, pristine beaches and sandy dunes, trendy glitzy malls and traditional souks, luxury resort hotels and award winning spas, aquatic explorations, desert adventures and wildlife sanctuaries, land and water sports, world-class golf and amazing man-made islands. Combining all these, Dubai has been transformed into a leading destination for couples, friends and families.
One of seven Emirates making up the United Arab Emirates, Dubai was once a quiet coastal settlement at the mouth of the Dubai Creek. By the turn of the 20th century it had become a flourishing port and a centre for pearl diving, trade, fishing and shipping and today, although still surrounded by desert, Dubai is a major business centre renowned for its striking modern architecture.
It's a destination offering affordable luxury with superb deluxe resort hotels, fabulous restaurants and tax free shopping and, whether you are travelling as a family or a couple, Dubai offers excitement, entertainment, culture and leisure experiences for all.
Jumeirah Palm (The Palm)
Dubai's exclusive Jumeirah Palm, also known as The Palm, is the world's largest man-made island. Located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach, The Palm boasts luxury beachside hotels and a waterpark, Aquaventure, at the iconic resort, Atlantis The Palm.
Beaches & Activities
The majority of our featured hotels boast their own stretch of private beach usually offering a bar service and many offering watersports for hire. Additionally, there are some good public beaches such as Al Mamzar Park and Black Palace Beach. For those wanting more excitement than spending lazy days by the pool, sunning on the beach or relaxing at one of the luxury spas, there are plenty of activities to enjoy such as horse riding, cycling, squash and tennis, deep-sea fishing, diving, sailing and surfing. For action packed watersports, there's Kite Beach and Jumeirah Beach and there are eleven outstanding golf courses, an ice rink, numerous health & fitness clubs, skiing in The Mall of Emirates, and extreme sports including rock climbing and skydiving available. Please note some public beaches charge a daily fee.
When to go
Thanks to its superb sunshine and minimal amount of rain, Dubai attracts visitors on a year round basis and the warm and pleasant winters are popular. Average maximum temperatures of 25 degrees are perfect for those wanting to escape the dreariness of our British winters.
