Set on a white sand island within the turquoise waters of a shallow lagoon, the charming Diamonds Thudufushi Beach & Water Villas offers luxurious accommodation and outstanding levels of service. The natural beauty of the island has been retained and enhanced by the elegant chic, white overwater villas and beach bungalows. The coral reef shore offers some of the country's best snorkelling.
Thudufushi offers a selection of land-based, beach junior suites and bungalows, and overwater villas some with jacuzzi and two bedrooms. The resort is popular with Italians and the décor of the accommodation reflects this. Similarly, with the cuisine, the food is excellent and pasta and pizza feature widely on the menus. There's also romantic lantern-lit dining on the beach.
The staff at the hotel are mainly European. There's a busy watersports centre, organised beach volleyball and a spa. Evening activities are low-key but include film and quiz nights. Serena Spa treatments are inspired by Asian traditions and the rich heritage of Ayurveda.
